I was good friends with Jay our freshman year. In addition to a great sense of humor, Jay had a quick and biting wit when he wanted to use it.
I happened to run into Jay in Market Square almost thirty years ago. We took a moment for pleasantries, each of us promising (of course) to keep in touch. That's been our only contact in fifty years.
Some people hang with you like that, and so it's been for Jay with me. I'm afraid it's all too familiar a story.
I'd appreciate hearing from anybody who might like to share some info about Jay, I know that he has a younger brother, Bill, and am wondering if someone knows anything about him.
