I met Patrick when he and I were going to a Christian Private School called Pathways. I always considered him to be my first boyfriend. He always had a big beautiful smile on his face every moment of every day that I saw him. He had a warm spirit and compassionate way about him. I remember the day I heard he had passed and I was devistated. I remember walking in at his wake, looking at him, and not recoginizing him. I guess seeing him lying there was so surreal that I couln't accept it. He was a bright part of my life and I still miss him very much. To Patrick's family, thank you for giving Patrick life so that I could enjoy his wonderful spirit. He helped make me who I am today.
Pat and I became close friends in our Senior year of high school, we would walk arm in arm to lunch everyday after our History class together. I still miss how he would elbow you in the side to get you to laugh at one of his jokes, or say "Oh come on" if you didn't think it was funny. I'll always treasure our friendship.
I was lucky enough to know Patrick since Elementary school. He was always kind and confident. I had not seen him since we graduated but a surreal thing happened to me. I was in the library at SCC maybe the day before the accident, and saw Patrick and we said our hellos and goodbyes forever. I think god calls upon the really good souls for his work, I went to the seen several times just wishing it wasn't true. So I had to say goodbye, to a friend. Not somebody I hung out with alot, but time had created. Rest in peace. J. Wozniak
