Went to FSU immediately after high school and promptly switched major from fine arts to criminology. Went to Seminole County Police Academy in 1992 and was hired at FSUPD in 1993. Worked my way through the ranks and now serve as Asst. Chief over Support Services (Investigations, Training, and Crime Prevention). Married in 1999.
My other life is all about cycling. I compete in ultra-marathon cycling events, run a non-profit for coaching disadvantaged youth, and I am a USA Cycling certified coach. I have also enjoyed a sponsorship by Anheuser-Busch in 2006 and 2007. I am currently developing a team to be fielded in RAAM (Race Across AMerica) in 2010. When it isn't wrecking my body it seems to keep me healthy.
