LAKELAND - Mr. Kenneth Michael Barton, age 58, died peacefully at home Saturday, May 9, 2015, from cancer. 
Born in Newark, N.J., on November 24, 1956, Kenneth came here from Point Pleasant, N.J., in 1959. Kenneth graduated from Kathleen Senior High School in 1974, and retired from Publix after 25 years of service. He was a loving father and devoted friend. 
Mr. Barton was preceded in death by his father Howard E. Barton. He is survived by his mother Adele Barton, Lakeland; daughter Jessica Barton, Lakeland; brother Howard Barton, New Orleans, LA. 
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, at Lanier Funeral Home Chapel.
