Lakeland: Steven Floyd Murkerson, age 66, passed away April 11, 2023, at Lakeland Regional Health.

Steve was born in Lakeland, Florida on September 10, 1956, to Floyd & Leola (Sheffield) Murkerson. Steve was a lifelong resident of Lakeland. He was a crane operator for Mosaic, a devoted family man and of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his mother: Leola Murkerson. He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Nancy Murkerson, daughters: Keely Copponex and Kaylen Murkerson, four grandchildren, father: Floyd (Jolene) Murkerson, sisters: Suzanne Shaw and Sharon Knapp.

The family will receive friends Friday: April 21, 2023, from 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M. at Seigler Funeral Home: Chapel: 1300 Hwy. 60 E., Mulberry, Florida. A celebration of "Steve's" life will follow at 1:00 P.M.
