POLK RUMPF, 57

LAKELAND - Nona Belle Polk Rumpf, 57, passed away August 30, 2013, of cancer.
Born January 27, 1956, to the late Horace and Beth Polk. Nona was raised in Lakeland and graduated from Kathleen High School in 1974.
Nona married Jim Rumpf in 1976 and they started their life together in Orlando. She held various banking positions there until she returned to Lakeland in 2006, where she worked for Rotech as a keypunch operator.
Nona enjoyed gardening, and she especially loved spending time with her family.
Nona is survived by her husband of 37 years, James, her daughter, Jaymi Rumpf (Steven) and two grandchildren Kylee and Landon, sister Patricia Moon (Joe), nieces Marybeth Ham-mond and Shannon Scott, nephews Duane and Kenneth Flory Jr., Matt and Brian Moon.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Laurice Flory.
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven; A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted....
A small family memorial service will be planned at a later date.
