Lakeland-Richard L. Land, Jr. was called home on February 4, 2021 at the age of 53.

Rick was born on January 28, 1968 in Champaign, IL to Richard Land, Sr. and Sandra Bielefeld. He is preceded in death by his mother; Sandra Land. He is survived by his wife; Leona (Seeder) Land and their son, Jacob. He is also survived by his father; Richard Sr., uncle; Roger Land, brothers; Allen and Brian Land, sisters;  Elizabeth Gesselman, Alison Land Bollmann and Shauna Johnston.

Rick graduated from Kathleen High School in 1986 and soon after joined the United Sates Marine Corps. Rick was a member of the First Baptist Church at the Mall in Lakeland. He loved spending time with Jacob at the shooting range and visiting with friends and family.

Services will be held at a later date, to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Rick's name to the National Kidney Foundation at https://www.kidney.org/donation.
