I don't remember exactly when I became friends with Diane, who I affectionately called "Oda". Probably when my family moved in across the street from her on Olivewood. But friends we became. Good, good friends. I loved her to pieces, we had so much fun together. After graduation my father was transfered (Navy) to Virginia, and while Diane and I did keep in touch and visited each other, we eventually lost contact. I did look for her on and off over the years, the internet making things easier. I was able to find her brother, who told me that Diane had died. What a punch in the gut. She was a lovely person and I loved her.

Diane and I hung out together through out our freshman year, what happened to her? Was she sick? Or was she in a accident ?
