Our Paraclete Family has lost a beloved member – Father Ernest Candelaria passed away on March 1st. Father Ernest taught a variety of subjects and served as the yearbook moderator from 1969 through 1996. He was known for his sense of humor, and his age – always 29. His homilies included humor. Father Ernest was an artist, and several Paraclete yearbooks display his work. His calligraphy skills were second to none. He was a caring and understanding person, and many PHS alumni considered him a favorite teacher. His legacy lives on the memories of alumni…and in twenty-seven yearbooks. God bless Father Ernest and our Paraclete!
