I last spoke with Rodney on Easter Sunday of 1997 at what was Dave's Como Lounge, now Green Buffalo Pub. We were both there cause we needed to get away from our families for moment. We talked, laughed, and Rodney was the first person from high school to apologize to me for the torment he put me through. I didn't remember him ever doing anything but I accepted the apology and we had a drink to celebrate a new friendship for the year. Approximately a month and half later, on May 26 1997, Memorial Day Rodney was killed in a motorcycle accident. A friend made and now remembered for time. All I can hear is the laughter of that Easter. You are missed Rodney.

I have very fond memories of Rodney from Como Park Elementary. We each went separate ways as we got older, but I remember "play dates" at Rodney's house and his ridiculous "show and tell" stories, mostly about Chainsawing in the back woods in his pajamas with Franky!

I will also remember his HUGE, forced grin/smile! And his laugh!

I lived down the street from rodney and was actually out with him the week before his passing. He was a good friend and I still think of him. He is truley missed.
