James Ryan Halstead of Burlington passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009. He was 37.

James was a cancer survivor, who graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1990. He was continuing his studies at John Jay College for his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.

He really enjoyed cars and was very proud of his restored 1964 Chevy Impala. He also enjoyed fishing and NASCAR racing.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Halstead (Joe Goehl); his father, James Halstead (Judy); a daughter, Haleigh Halstead; his sisters, Nicole Halstead, and Jonell Caruso (Bruce); his brother, Van Wiley (Janna); and his grandparents, Gladys Halstead and Florence Morrison. He also is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends including Keith Bush.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George Halstead, and Fred and Anna Walter; and an aunt, Katy Albright.
