Phyllis Ridlon

Phyllis Jean Ridlon of Oakford passed away suddenly following a brief illness Friday, Jan. 30, 2015. She was 54.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a resident of Bucks County for most of her life. Phyllis was a longtime employee at Oakwood Nursing Home where she was a nurse's aide.

She enjoyed singing, observing nature, and loved all animals. She was an accomplished artist; Phyllis was good at everything she touched. She loved spending time with her family, working in the garden, and was an awesome cook.

Phyllis was the beloved daughter of Phyllis and the late Jerry Ridlon. She was the loving sister of Vickie (Alphonso), Katherine (Norman), Jerry (Michele), and Jeff (Lisa). She will be sadly missed by her loving aunts, uncles, nieces nephews, and by all those whose life she touched.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Joseph; her sisters, Tammy and Deborah, and her brother, Stephen.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, where friends may call on the family from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Her Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
