Smitty drowned on March 3rd,1982 in a boating accident with a co-worker on Lake Nockamixon in Bucks County. His parents are doing well and still live in Langhorne. Jimmy was an only child and since his death, we have been "adopted" by his parents. They are every bit a part of our family as any of our blood relatives and we are part of the Smith's extended family. We celebrate The Holidays with them every Christmas Eve. My best memory of Jimmy was sneaking a beer ball into his luggage for a ski club trip to Vermont. Ours was the only alcohol not confiscated.
