I remember Mike very well. We would sometime walk home from junior high school toghether. I have often thought about him over the years and was very sadden to learn of his passing. He always made me laugh. Here's to you Mike....
I just read that Mike passed on. I am sorry I did not know till today. (9-8-09) Way to young to pass on. I am sure we all miss him. I was never one of his friends, but i know he was a nice young man..
Mike and I met around the 4th grade. Along with three others, we took "special" speech lessons together. It was very difficult for us to make all the sounds in the english language. I always picked Mike for pickup games on the playgound regardless of the sport because he always excelled at each sport and was relentless.
I didn't see too much of Mike after 10th grade I think he went to Tech School. But I got to see him again in the early 1990's when Frank Marte, Dave Coleman and Ward Bacon (Neshaminy 1980) and I bowled at Jubilee Lanes in Levittown. Mike was a very, very good bowler. I think he had an average in the low 190's. We could have used him on the Maple Point bowling team.
