Sylvia Chappell (McCollough)
Hi to All!
Just a quick hello to whoever pops into our 1960 Site! I agree Bobbi, this is an excellent opportunity for each of us to stay connected to our friends and former classmates, and help us remember a time when life was much simpler, kinder, and in so many instances, just a HOOT!!
So far, 2011 has been great! Julie Beck and I have reconnected on a more regular scale, and had so much fun telling "old" stories and sharing our plans for the future.
Dale Miller and I have also reconnected, shared the MSU football games, and had a ton of fun catching up and re-creating our friendship. Amazing how easy it is to "slip" back into our high school years, especially sharing all the laughs and fun events.
I speant a few weeks in Florida, looking forward to Spring, and working on several projects, and volunteering as Facilitator for the Art of Leadership Mentor program. My group of students include a number of Eastern Kids.....and it's really an eye openor listening to all that goes on at Eastern today....certainly different from our days in school. Oh my..... LOL!
I'm hoping to enjoy the rest of winter, do some downhill skiing, a bit of snowmobiling, and trying to get myself geared up to go ice skating. I love the winter sports!!
Hope everyone is well, healthy, and happy, and all is well!!
If you haven't seen the movie The King's Speech, it's fantastic!!
All my best and looking forward to our mini-reunion???? Thanks so much to everyone who is helping with this site, I love the chance to stay connected with everyone! Great Job!!
Cheers!! Sylvia
