James C. Gleason, 74, passed away on February 12, 2017, at his home in Florida after a long illness. James "Jim" was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, loved playing cards, and always had a funny story to tell. Jim enjoyed living in Florida where he golfed, enjoyed the sun, and had many friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Sandra; and his mother, Ruby. Jim is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara; his father, Irving; and his children, Kristie (Jeff) Cheadle and Scott (Tina) Gleason. Jim is also survived by his grandchildren, Brandon (Liz), Adam (Samantha), Autumn (Tom), Brooke (Mark), Michael (Kirstin), Marissa, Madison, Emily; and six great-grandchildren with two more on the way. In addition, Jim is survived by his siblings, Ted (Deb), Jack (Sue) and Judy (Doug) along with a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 on Saturday, February 18, at Charlar Place, 4230 Charlar Drive, Holt, Michigan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
