James Nolan

James "Jimmy" Nolan of Dushore passed away on Friday, June 21st, 2024.

Born June 23rd, 1966, to the late Jack Sr. and Lois Nolan,

He was a graduate of the Sullivan County High School class of 1984. After high school, Jimmy followed his father's footsteps and joined and honorably served in the United States Navy. He was then employed by Taylor's meat packing in Wyalusing, PA, where he worked for many years. Jimmy then took to his love and passion for travel and worked as a lineman/flagger for East Coast Splicing, traveling the entirety of the East Coast.

Jimmy was a man of many names, who left an impression on anyone who knew him as "Good ole Jimmy." Some names include Baby Bro, Squim, Uncle Jimmy, Dad, and his favorite name given by his granddaughters - known as Pop. Those who knew Jimmy would say he was a one-of-a-kind guy. His laughter was contagious, and he believed in the healing power of humor as "Laughter is the best medicine." He was a member of american legion post #996.
