Christie Barrera Storer, Loni Rose McConnel, and several other Nixon Alumni are planning a

MULTI-YEAR Nixon Class Reunion.  They are reaching out to the classes of 1965 to 1970. The reunion if scheduled to be held in San Antonio at the Estancia del Norte (formally Doubletree Mansion del Norte) located across from North Star Mall.  A flyer will follow with details of the event.

Dear Classmates and Friends of the Nixon Class of 1969

Time marches on.  The Nixon Class of 1969 will be celebrating their 50^th anniversary this Labor Day Saturday, August 31 at 7PM.  We need to start making some down payments for the location, food, and music.  Your quick response and payment is greatly appreciated.

Please also extend an invitation to all Nixon Alumni of any year as well as to our sister/brother high schools i.e. Ursuline, Martin, San Augustine, and St. Joe who are close friends of yours.  Also invited are anyone else who hung around with the Class of Nixon 1969.

The reunion will take place at Los Patios off Bob Bullock Loop and Lake Casa Blanca Golf Course.  Tickets are $100/person and includes dinner, set ups (BYOB), soft drinks, live music from the 60’s, and great company. J

Dress is casual comfortable.  At our age that means wear whatever you want. JJJ

Part of the entertainment will be remembering businesses and locations that were near and dear to us.  During the music breaks we will be asking the group for some of these locations.

Hey all you Mustangs! Get ready for our 50th CLASS REUNION to be held in Laredo on Saturday August 31, 2019 at the Barn- Los Patios on Casablanca Road at 7:30 PM- Labor Day weekend. There will be good food and great music in a casual setting. Please spread the word to all  your friends so we can have a great turnout. Please email me with your information on classmates that still have not joined the site, or anyone else interested in attending. Other classes are invited to attend,as well as alumni from Martin High, Ursuline Academy and St. Joe. So mark your calendars and plan to party like it's 1969!  Motel 6 Laredo Airport (956) 568-0646 has a reunion room rate of $55 and La Quinta Inn and Suites has a rate of $92.00 (956)724-7222, and Staybridge Suites 956)722-0444 (across from La Quinta) has a rate of $124/night(would not give me a reuion rate). All three hotels are very close to the event. Call soon as the special room rates are limited. We are looking forward to seeing you in 2019! Hello all you Mustangs from the Class of 1969- It's time to celebrate our 42nd (that can't be right!) reunion on Memorial Day Weekend 2011. Things are still in the planning stage, but our class is joining three or four other Nixon classes, spearheaded by our fearless leader Cynthia Haynes Ramirez. Hey Mustangs- A block of rooms has been reserved for the reunion at the Embassy Suites, 110 Calle del Norte (across from Mall del Norte), phone (956) 723-9100 at a rate of $115/night. Includes breakfast and snacks. Deadline to make reservation is May 6th.

There is also another hotel - Rio Grande Plaza, right on the river, that is offering $45.00 a night- tel is 956 722-2411. This hotel is pretty far from the Country Club, however.
