On April 5, 2010 God called one of his angels home. Though we lost a dear classmate and friend, Velenda Mason, so suddenly we should strive to find comfort in knowing that she is in a better place. It doesn't matter how long your life is. It only matters that you were here in all your glory and that you opened up completely and let your light shine. And that you brought joy to those who came into contact with you. Those who knew her dearly know that Velenda lived a vibrant life and will live for an eternity in the hearts of those she touched.
