Bob Fox

Robert C. Fox II, 69, of Marin County, California passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2021. Robert 'Bob' was a Marin County native growing up in Larkspur, attending Redwood High School, where he played football and graduated college at Saint Mary's College. Later he pursued a career in the fire service as a dedicated Fire Chief of Corte Madera. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed spending time with his close friends and family. Some of his passions were hunting, fishing, and golfing. In his later years Bob spent most of his time working on his ranch in Oregon, where he found peace and serenity being surrounded by nature. One of Bob's biggest accomplishments was having his three beloved children. His children will tell you not only was he their father, but also their best friend. Bob and his children were inseparable. He was his children's superhero. He was full of wisdom and taught his three children the wonders of life and surrounding them with unconditional love and support. Through his children's ups and downs, he was always there to pick them back up and teach them how to persevere and find joy in the beauty of life. Bob will be remembered for his strength, confidence, and the legacy he leaves behind in his children. Bob is survived by his three children, Elliot Michael, Christian Daniel, and Payton Belle Fox, as well as his dog, Max.

Update: A memorial gathering for Bob's family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 7th. It will begin at 12:30pm at McInness Park Clubhouse, in San Rafael, Ca. All are welcome.
