James Jenkins, III Passed away at 61 years of age on October 7, 2007 in Durango, CO. He was born in San Francisco and raised in Kentfield where he attended Redwood High School. During the Vietnam War he served in the US Navy on the USS Hancock. He later attended college in Exeter, England. He is survived by his mother Edith Hanna; sister, Katherine Miltner; nieces, Jennifer and Elizabeth; nephew, Charlie and a wide circle of friends. Services private.
Some how Jamie called me after the last reunion. He wasn't there but heard I was in Sausalito. I invited him to the Sausalito Yacht Club for dinner. We never knew each other before so it was fun meeting someone from the past and finding out how I were perceived. Turns out he was terrified of me in College. He was ill but I didn't know how serious it was. A kind and gentle cowboy who left too soon. Pat
