From the beginning of his career John combined his legal and literary talents . He practiced and taught law while also writing various screenplays and novels. He is most famous for The Paper Chase which describes his time at Harvard Law. In 2020 he was inducted into Redwood’s Avenue of Giants but the post-covid recognition banquet came too late for John to be well enough to attend. He had long hoped for this and took great pride in being so honored by his school! 
Survived By: John’s wife Dr Emilie Osborn, three children, six grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters
