Charlie was a friend of mine from Neil Cummins Elementary School, in Corte Madera through high school. I last spoke with him a few years ago, it seems. He was always a good natured, friendly kid. In Scouts, he was fair and trustworthy  to his fellow Scouts. He was a good poker player when we were 15. He was good to his friends and kind to his grandparents.

Charlie and I met in second grade.  One of the highlights on class party days was Charlie and James Holt playing their accordians.  He was on our first reunion committee in 1978.  Charlie died of cancer attributed to his exposure to agent orange during his service in Viet Nam.  He was a very kind and gentle person.
