Mike's life was a mix of love and struggle. Mike lost his parents just after High School and battled alcoholism soon after. He was an over-the-road trucker and found peace in his "journey" across the country. Mike was my life long friend and died at his own hand on Sept 16th, 1999. He is buried at his mother's side in San Miquel Cemetary, Socorro, New Mexico.
