Patrick G. Morrisroe, 43, of Las Cruces, N.M., went to meet his Heavenly Father on Jan. 7, 2014, in Kykotsmovi, Ariz. Patrick was born on March 13, 1970, in Santa Fe, N.M., to James D. Morrisroe and Mary K. Morrisroe. Patrick graduated from Mayfield High School in 1988. He also attended New Mexico State University for two years. In July 1994, Patrick graduated from the NM Department of Corrections Academy in Santa Fe. Patrick's hobbies included camping, hunting, karate, running, landscaping, and playing baseball. He is survived by his mother, Mary K. Morrisroe of Las Cruces, uncles Joe L. Esquibel of Las Cruces, and John F. Esquibel of Sedona, Ariz., and his loving girlfriend, Jerusha L. Ignacio, of Ojo Encino, N.M. Other survivors include several cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, James D. Morrisroe of Santa Fe, and his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Gregorio R. Esquibel of Las Cruces. Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1327 N. Miranda, rosary at 11 a.m. with Holy Mass at noon Jan. 14, 2014. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Richard Perea, Tony Gonzalez Jr., Christopher Smith, Robert Ballesteros, Gilbert Uranga, Jimmy Garcia, Tony Gonzalez Sr. and Gene Torrez. Honorary pall bearers will be Leonard Ignacio and Leonard Gallegos. Funeral services are entrusted to La Paz-Grahams Funeral Home.
