JAIME “BIG TIME” A. GARCIA, age 47, lifelong resident of Las Cruces passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017. “Big Time”, as he was fondly known to family and friends, was born May 27, 1970 to Ramon and Maria Elena Alaniz Garcia.

Those left to mourn his passing include his loving wife, Herlinda Hernandez Garcia of the family home; son, Jaime Garcia Jr; daughter, Jasmine Lopez (Julio); his parents, Ramon and Maria Elena all of Las Cruces; brother, Tudy Perez (Bertha) of Anthony and three sisters, Lori Zamora (Aaron) also of Las Cruces, Sylvia Hartley (Brian) of Alamogordo and Sally Smith of Arizona. Other survivors include three grandchildren, Aaliyah, Jeremiah, and Josiah, numerous nieces and nephews, and his in-laws, Victor and Maria Hernandez. Big Time was preceded in death by two uncles, Salvador Alaniz and Alfredo Garcia and a cousin, Becky Garcia.

Visitation for Jaime will begin at 10 AM Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Living Waters Assembly of God, corner of East Bowman and Espina, with the Funeral Service scheduled for 11 AM with Pastor Conrad Valdez officiating. Concluding Service and Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 100 N. Espina where he will be laid to rest.

Serving as casket bearers will be Jaime Garcia Jr, Julio Lopez, Jimmy Ray O’Kelly, Isaiah O’Kelly, Greg Zamora and Eddie Garcia. Honorary bearers will be Freddy Barela, Freddy Hernandez, Kyle and Kevin Kirker, Irvin Lopez and Zion Smith.
