Dorothy D'Agostino Benton

I moved to Santa Fe our Junior year during Christmas Vacation. Anyone that knew my mother remembers how she would just pick up and do things last minute. I didn't know we were moving until Christmas Eve that year. I have thought about so many of you so often. I am happy to see so many successes and sad to see those that have been lost. There were some amazing times.

I have 3 children (very busy childern). My daughter Caitlin is a sponsored snow boarder. My son Greg is a typical high school sophomore and the youngest, Evan, keeps us all busy. I am married to a Bernalillo County Fireman, Mike. We enjoy camping, snow boarding, and anything else our kids can get us involved in.

Long story short...... After graduating from Santa Fe High, I went to school in Idaho. Returned to New Mexico after school and started a family (marriage, kids, divorce, marriage, 10 yrs together then another child.....). In 2001, I jumped through hoops to secure a career in the fire department. On September 11, I decided that I couldn't take the risk with the responsibility of a family. I've been working for CitiGroup since. No where near as exciting, but no lives lost either.
