Cause of Death: MRSA infection that affected his liver and kidneys and eventually his heart.

Survived By: Wife Stephanie Dennis and his son from a former marriage Stephen now 30 years old. Stephanie has three daughters by a former marriage and loved Jeff as a father.

Jeff was a musician playing all brass instruments mostly tuba. he also played piano and banjo. He played with the Cardinal's band for all four of his years at LHS. He also played with the Dixieland Jazz band at Disneyland. Jeff played tuba with the LA Philharmonic for a few months as a replacement. He was also a member of Inglewood Toppers Band, and they won 1st place in a competition in Germany. He joined the Salvation Army in Torrance in the late 70's and marched in the Rose Bowl parade for about 20 years. In 1980 he graduated from Officer Training School for the Salvation Army. At the time of his passing, he had made his way up the ranks to Major. Salvation Army has military ranks. He was married to Pam Dennis and they had two boys. The oldest son Jeffrey Jr. was born in 1987 and passed away in 1993 from complications from a traumatic birth. Their other son Stephen is living in Arizona and has two sons, Maddox and Tristin.
