Wesseler, Joseph “Joe” Harold, 64, of South Lebanon passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 surrounded by family. Born February 7, 1961 in Cincinnati, OH to Elmer and Clara (nee: Liftin) Wesseler, Joe was a 1979 graduate of Lebanon High School. Joe worked for more than 20 years as a machine operator for E-Beam Services.
A devoted church member and follower of Jesus, Joe was known for his generous spirit and his famous dad jokes. He took great pride in his “joke list”, always ready with a cheesy one-liner or a custom pun for any occasion. This same joy fueled his favorite pastime: restoring old bicycles and gifting them to any child in need. Joe loved nothing more than seeing a kid ride off on a new set of wheels.
Joe is preceded in death by his beloved first wife Verna Kay (nee: Collins), his parents, and his brother, Donald Wesseler. Survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Diane “Robin” (nee: Huy) (Dority) Wesseler, his son, Joseph Harold Wesseler Jr (Lauren), his daughters, Erica (Brandon) Brown and Jessica (Richard) Prim, his brothers, Stanley (Evalee) Wesseler, Henry (Pat) Wesseler, and Louis (Pat) Wesseler, his sisters, Rose Mary Bush and Regina (Curtis) Harvey and his six grandchildren, Tyler and Carter Wesseler, Anna and Henry Prim, and Etta and Freya Brown.
Visitation, Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 1-2 PM with funeral service immediately following, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, 329 E Mulberry St, Lebanon. Pastor Junior Hubbard officiating. Memorial donations are requested to the Hospice of Cincinnati.
