Age 67, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Patti was born on October 16, 1957, in Circleville, Ohio, to William and Jean Marie (Wuerstle) Rackett. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She is survived by her children: Casey (Josh) Morter, Kelley (Jeff) Carter, Jonathan (Lauren) Cridge, Mark (Kim) Cridge, Jacob Cridge, and Matti (Eric) Gove; their father, Alan Cridge; 12 cherished grandchildren; and her sisters, Jean Marie Graham, Barbara Rackett, Sue (Jim) Nowicki, and Mary Ellen (Marion) Delaney. She was preceded in death by her siblings David, Jimmy, Bill, and Beverly Rackett.

Patti will always be remembered as a devoted stay-at-home mom who never missed a game, performance, or life event. She was a black belt in Taekwondo and an accomplished marathon runner. She was her children’s biggest cheerleader, a woman whose kindness touched everyone she met, and whose presence lit up every room.

Her Catholic faith guided her throughout her life, and she was deeply involved in her church community. She loved God, her family, country music, peace signs, and cruising through the neighborhood with a smile. Patti’s legacy is one of love, faith, and joy, carried on by the many lives she touched.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 11 AM at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Lebanon, with Father Bryce Berger presiding. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. Arrangements by Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00–4:00 PM at 229 S. Mechanic Street, Lebanon, Ohio. All friends and family are welcome to join to share stories, memories, and time together in honor of Patti.
