Merllyn Elmer Manning, 56, of Lehi, died Feb. 21, 1991, in the American Fork Hospital of heart failure.  He was born June 19, 1934, in Lehi, to Elmer George and Dorothy Wright Manning.  He married Nadine Angus August 27, 1954, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  They were later divorced.

    He was a steel worker at Geneva Steel and a horse trainer.  He was a Sunday school teacher at Grapevine Fellowship.

    He is survived by his fiancee, Bonnie Jo Dodds, American Fork; sons: Edwin M. Manning, Provo; Kenneth D. Manning, Delta; Darren J. Manning, Deming, Wash.; Justin C. Manning, Springville; five grandchildren; brother and sister: Frank Manning, Lehi, Mrs. Reid (Janene) Marchbanks, Orem; his mother of Lehi.

    Funeral services were held Monday, February 25, in the Wing Mortuary Chapel.  Buial was n the Lehi City Cemetery.
