
Kathrin Cook, 69, passed away on December 12, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on October 18, 1944 in Lehi, Utah, the daughter of Ellis and Wilma Sorenson.
She graduated from Lehi High School. Kathrin married her high school sweetheart Jerry on June 22, 1962 in the Salt Lake Temple. She started her life as a wife and homemaker and was the proud mother of five sons who were her whole world.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving in many callings.
Her family and loved ones were everything to her thru out her life. She will be especially remembered as a Grandma, each grandchild held a unique and special place in her heart.
She is survived by her sons: Rick, Gordon (Julie), Jed (Arla), all of Lehi, 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, sisters-in-law Lou Sorenson, Gelene Cook, brothers-in-law; Cliff (Addie) Cook, Bob (Sherri) Cook, Carol (Ron) Argyle and Carleen (Earl) Ford. Preceded in death by her husband Jerry, sons Todd and Josh, parents, brothers Nile and Von (Carleen) Sorenson, sister Geralee (Larry) Glathar, brother-in-law Lynn Cook and sister-in-law Rose Cook.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehi 2nd Ward Chapel, 481 East 300 North. Family and friends may call Tuesday, December 17th from 6-8:00 p.m. at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday morning.
