LEICESTER: Laurie L. (Turner) Baniukiewicz, 61, of Marshall Street died unexpectedly, Wednesday, October 29 in her home after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 43 years; Alan M. Baniukiewicz, a daughter Katrina M. Baniukiewicz of Northampton, three sisters Jo Jeromeand her husband Thomas of Clearwater, FL, Gerilyn Souther of Shortsville, NY and Darel Baniukiewicz and her husband Charles of WestHarwich, a special nephew Bryan Jerome and his wife Tammy of St. Petersburg, FL and several other nieces and nephews.
Laurie was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles A. and Frances M. (Allen) Turner. She was a devoted wife and mother. She graduatedfrom Leicester High School. She was the of􀁽ce manager at CA Turner Co. for many years. She enjoyed cooking, reading, music andanimals.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 1 at 10:00 AM in the First Congregational Church of Leicester, 1 Washburn Square, Leicester. Burialwill follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 31 from 5:00-7:00 PM in MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131Main Street, Leicester. In lieu of 􀁾owers memorial donations may be made to Leicester High School Athletic Department, 174 PaxtonStreet, Leicester, MA 01524. (Checks payable to the Town of Leicester).
