The funeral for Tyler Green, 21, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home with Tim Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.

Mr. Green died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at home.Mr. Green was a member of Clements Baptist Church. He attended Calhoun Community College. He was employed by J.I.T. Services in Madison. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a graduate of West Limestone High School.

He is survived by his mother, Laurie Page of Elkmont; his father, Michael Green of Arab; two brothers, Trae Green of Florence, Austin Sims of Elkmont; grandfathers, Douglas McBay of Athens, Lelton Green of Arab; and grandmother, Sarah Hudson of Arab. Pallbearers will be Bubba Smith, Trey Stanford, Zac Mucci, Jared Pate, Logan Elmore and Cullen Lovell.
