Friends acknowledged the passing of Jana Lee Buck Hanks on March 21, 2012, in Paintsville. She was born Oct. 15, 1948, to parents Wendell and the late Juanita Brent Buck. Her husband, Daniel Hanks, preceded her in death. Together they had two children, Jon C. Hanks of Kansas and Heather Hanks Hill of Texas. Jana leaves behind six grandchildren; her beloved dogs, Eddie and Rascal; and many friends who will greatly miss her.
