Martha Margaret "Mitzi" Oney, age 58 of Lexington, KY formerly of Somerset, KY passed away suddenly on Wednesday March 28, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Mitzi was born on July 8, 1948 in Somerset, Ky to the late William H. Cundiff, Sr. and Doris Kelly Guion. She was united in marriage to Harold Lloyd Oney, Jr. on March 30, 1968 in Somerset, KY at the First Christian Church by the late Rev. L.D. Fisher. To the union was born two children; Marsha Michelle (and Scott) Long of Richmond, Ky and Harold Lloyd(and Vanessa) Oney, III of Nicholasville, KY her brothers, Bill Cundiff,Jr of Englewood, FL and Gregg (and Cathie) Guion of Canton, MS, two sisters; Kathryn (and Clinton) DeBord of Somerset, Ky and Sarah (and Mike)Moulder of Brandon, MS; her grandchildren; James Levi and Christopher Allen Oney and Peyton Elizabeth and Brandon Scott Long.

Mitzi was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister. She enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren. She was a doll collector, making crafts, reading and fishing. She loved the houseboat excursions her and the family took on Lake Cumberland. Another passion was for old movies, but most of all was her love of family and friends, being a loving wife, mother,sister and grandmother. She was a very outgoing person and made friends easily. Mitzi loved Christmas and was exhibited by the decorations she displayed inside and outside the home. She was a very loving and caring person and will be missed by a host of friends and relatives.
