I considered Morris a good friend even though I didn't see him often. I was totally shocked to hear of his death. I understand that his last few years were plagued with health problems.
I met with Lara and Morris for lunch when I was considering moving back to Lexington. He was so friendly and welcoming. I will forever be grateful for him fixing me up on a blind date with Hank Wurst, my high school sweetheart.
I am sorry to not be seeing him at the reunion but am really glad that Lara is coming. She is, also, a friend.
Morris was a good man and a good friend.
