I noticed a paralle between Henry Lee (Hank) Miles and my mother Azada Beatty. They shared the same birthday.    My mother was born January 13, 1920 and Hank was born January 13, 1947 - the same year that I was born. Hank died 5 days before my mother died. A strange coencedence maybee?  Question:  Was Hank one of the boys who recieved a congressional appointment to 1 of the service accademies?

I went to church with Hank at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church while we were in High School. He had a very, very good heart.

In high school he often talked about joining the military after he graduated from Lafayette.
