He had retired from Armco Steel after 30 years. 
 
He is survived by his wife Jeanette, two children, Matt and his wife Andrea and their triplets, Lily, Abby and Eli and Megan Deere and her husband Matt and their year old daughter, Olivia.

Steve died from liver cancer.  He only had 14 days after he was diagnosed before he died.  He was buried August 5 in West Plains, Missouri where his parents had moved.  He and his wife Jeanette lived there for about 2 years.
