David joined the Air Force and was deployed in Japan during the Viet Nam war. He went on to graduate from Hastings College in Nebraska. Donations were made to the ARF Rescue Foundation.

Survived By: wife Diane, 4 daughters and 5 grandchildren. Memorial service was at St Mary's Catholic Church in Walnut Creek, CA on 8/09/2019
