Jerry J. Rowe, 29, died at 10:36 a.m. Nov. 4, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born in November 1978, in Lima to Dexter A. Bratton Sr. and Hilda Rowe Richardson. His father survives in Lima. His mother and stepfather, Kenneth Richardson, survive in Toledo.
Survivors also include two sons, Markevion Cotton, of Lima, and Zayvin Jones, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two daughters, Taraya Smith, of Findlay, and Ny'ana Rowe, of Lima; his godmother, Courlinda Bevis, of Lima; six brothers, Dexter L. Bratton, of Lima, Dexter A. Bratton Jr., of Macon Ga., Charles (Shavone) Rowe, of Lima, Lamont Jones, of Indianapolis, and Trent Williams and Terrance Phillips, both of Lima; a godbrother, Joseph Brown, of Atlanta; seven sisters, Alisha Williams, of Detroit, Roseanna (Robert) Lewis, of Daytona Beach, Fla., LaDonna Rowe, of Lima, Shirlisa Bagan, of Daytona Beach, Fla., Shalena Coats, of Fort Wayne, Ind., Ashley Williams, of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Renicka Young, of Cincinnati; a godsister, Tywona Bevis, of Lima; two stepsisters, Nocosha Thomas, of Lima, and Natasha Evans, of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; paternal grandmother, Betty Bratton, of Lima; maternal grandmother, Mary (Willie) Pernell, of Toledo; and paternal stepgrandmother, Annie Smith, of Lima. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Caesar Bratton; maternal grandfather, Roy T. Rowe Sr.; stepfather, Jerry Williams II; and paternal stepgrandmother, Easter Williams.
