I changed schools in 4th grade, from Capitol to Randolph. Sandy's soft and pleasant personality was very welcoming. Such a kind and friendly girl. I remember that Sandy returned to Lincoln when her mother died, several years later and several years ago. I attended the funeral's reception and got to see Sandy, brought her a 50th Reunion yearbook and insisted she come to our "girl's dinner" on Thursday evening of that week. Her two lovely daughters made sure Sandy got to Tico's and we all had a wonderful time. I was sad when I found Sandy's obit. She was such a good, good person. RIP dear Sandy.
