I am sorry to read that Jim has passed away. He and I along with Jim Cedlik (spelling) played drums in the band and orchestra. This was a wonderful experience for us. Jim went on to do important things which is a testament as to his character. A good man and a good leader with a quiet veneer. At least this is my recollection. Thank you Jim.

Jane, I am sorry for the loss of your soul mate. Many good memories of Jim, especially his gifted voice, we all had the pleasure of hearing when he sang in the Octet and University of Nebraska Madrigals. Then there was Jim’s laughter, a laughter that Earl True and I could easily initiate.  He always had a welcoming smile that put you at ease. Reading his obituary, Jim was a leader who gave back to others. Jane, may the memory of Jim be a blessing to you and your family.
