News has reached us today, 6-15-2026, that John A. Martin passed away in December 2018.  Our belated condolences to John's family.

Referring to information sent to us by John when responding for our 50th reunion mailing in 2011 we can share this:

John served in the US Army in Germany and Asia.  John and his family moved from Lincoln to Sioux Falls SD where he worked for and retired from US Postal Service.  John had three children and four grandchildren.  John volunteered with the Civil Defense as a storm spotter and as a radiological officer.  John belonged to the Lincoln Artists Guild.  He was an artist in gold smithing, jewelry, painting (in oil, water and pastels), sculpting in wood and clay.  Please refer to John's Profile page to view photos of his art work.  In more recent years John moved to Rockport TX.
