I wasn't close to Maralee Mitzner Cloran but our paths crossed several tmes.We both survived Pius X High School Chemistry and Physics classes with the help of Mike Kafka and Ken Renner. I signed up for Physics due to prodding from Anna Last.I'm sure Maralee was as thankful as I was for that introduction to difficult course material. I felt it eased both of us into future college classes.Maralee went into nursing and I went into Medical Technology and worked in several different Hospital Laboratories for 40+ years. Maralee will be remembered as a sweet caring person especially by the many patients whose lives she touched. Eloyce Johnson Jensen class 1970
Maralee was quiet, and she spoke slowly, but she was smart and dedicated to nursing. After high school we only got together occasionally, but I remember how excited she was about the house she bought about a mile from us in northeast Lincoln. You always had to take your shoes off when you entered her house, but she was a great hostess. In later years I would come in to Lincoln to the Farmers Market on Saturdays and we'd talk for a while and I would buy some of the wonderful mixed herbs and spices she and her granddaughter had made.

I didn't know Maralee all that well but I remember her as quiet, she was nice to everyone and a was kind to all.
Always intended to go to the Gratitude Bakery but never got there. There's always time go.
You will be missed by your family, friends and those whose lives you've touched.
