Lynn and I road to Saint Teresa's bus to Pius sophomore year and occasionally after that. My family had moved from Sacred Heart parish right before our sophomore year. We had several classes together throughout our time at Pius.
We also graduated from UNL teachers college in 1974. She was in several of my elementary Ed classes. Along with Laveda Schuster we moved to Omaha for a semester of student teaching. I was starting a Master's in Special Ed. They were both in a program to increase teaching skills and student taught M-T with classes on Friday. So, they went home on weekends.
Things had finally come together for Lynn and she was in a teaching situation she liked at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her younger brother Anthony. It was a tough time for family and friends. I'm not in touch with her family, but I know thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.
