Paula A. Buis, passed away at home October 20th at age 57. She was born October 1, 1954 to Ruby and Howard Friedman. Paula displayed amazing strength and courage while battling multiple serious health problems over many years. She was a source of inspiration and comfort to those who knew her.

Survivors include her son, John and husband, Vern; her sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Richard Campbell; her brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Mody Friedman; her aunts, Jan Ryan and Char Fifer; and her many animal friends. She served as a "second mom" to countless kids through the years, including especially her beloved god daughters, Kim and Kelly Ward. She will also be missed and remembered by her dear friend, Dan Bartek.
