Rick Haas, 69, son of T. O. and Terry Haas, died on February 5, 2024. Rick was a lifelong resident of Lincoln. As a young person, he won the Lincoln Soap Box Derby, competed in gymnastics at Lincoln High, and enjoyed water skiing at Capitol Beach. He later enjoyed sprint and drag car racing, Husker football, and bicycle riding. Rick's business history included part ownership of T. O. Haas Tire, ownership of Bebo's restaurant in Omaha, and stock market trading. Rick was a loving father with a light hearted personality. He is survived by his daughter, Steffen Haas; sister, Rebecca Williams; brother, Randy Haas (Sheri); nieces: Danielle McEwen (Tim) and Sidney Edwards (Spencer); four great nephews, and two great nieces.

A private family remembrance will be held.
