Gary Wayne Vajgrt, 56, died January 11, 2011.  He was born on August 12, 1954 to Lumir and Lorraine (Wendelin) Vajgrt.  Gary was an extraordinarily talented trumpet player.  In addition to being heavily involved in the music program at Lincoln High, he played in a number of rock bands.  Highlights of his adult career include playing four years with Delbert McClinton, Farm Aid 1 and 3, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Fabulous T-Birds, and Bonnie Raitt,  He is survived by his parents, son Will, brothers Randy, Ron, and Daniel.
