Scott Douglas Sheldon was born February 18, 1954 to Marvin J, and Wilma J. (White) Sheldon in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Scott attended Whittier Junior High and was a 1972 graduate of Lincoln High.  In 1972 he married classmate Laura Halsted. He died from cancer on September 4, 1985, at the age of 31.  Scott was survived by his wife Laura, parents, daughters Jennifer, Julie and Jody, and son Jeffery.
